The Poughkeepsie Public Library District has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional librarian / administrator.
Job Description: Supervise three full-time and two part-time librarians and three full-time Library Assistants. Apply best practices and new technologies for innovative service development. Motivates and trains staff to deliver excellent customer service. Develops strong partnerships with schools and community groups. Enjoys active participation in the library’s management team and regular collaboration with other departments. Oversees materials selection and expenditures, desk scheduling, and extensive programming. Includes evening and weekend rotation.
