Millbrook School - Part-time School Library Position

Millbrook School, a small independent high-school in Dutchess County is looking for a person interested in libraries to work part-time (about twelve hours per week) assisting the director of its Flagler Library. The candidate should be either experienced in, or willing to learn, effective ways to help high-school students use print and electronic materials for research and study, working to support community service students, acquisition of new materials, and interlibrary loan. The Mid-Hudson Library System is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented individual for the challenging full-time position of Youth Services & Community Connections Coordinator.

Ideal candidate will be responsible for developing programs and practices associated with quality youth services and community-based programs for adults that connect member libraries with their community; developing marketing strategies and materials to promote libraries in the Hudson Valley; and providing expertise, training, and consultative services for member libraries.
